Product Description

Molly’s spalted maple top has a lot going on. Two “dutchmen” made with purple heart and wenge woods secure the top while providing some serious pop! Not wanting to disappoint, we followed suit in Molly’s base.

Sturdy, rich colored manzanita legs are attached through a mortise and tenon on top and bottom. The purple heart base is accented with wenge to match the top’s dutchmen.

Artistic Inspiration

While creating Molly I experienced what every person has experienced at least once in their life. Things were not going as planned. So much so that I kept getting visuals of an old miner trying to coax a stubborn braying mule to do as the miner desired.

By golly…Molly sure sounds like the name for this piece!
